To strengthen communication between teachers and students and to help international students quickly merge into the campus environment, on March 21st, the SIEC (School of International Education and Cooperation) held an enrollment education and welcome conference for 2024 CM freshmen from countries such as Pakistan and Tanzania in Room 1201 of the Library and Information Building.
During the activity, teachers from various departments patiently answered the questions of the freshmen, from teaching management to student affairs, from cultural exchange to psychological counseling, to help them better understanding the operation mechanism of the college.
The teachers also explained in detail the various learning resources and services provided by the college, emphasizing the importance of academic integrity. Through vivid cases and practical suggestions, new students have a deeper understanding of the college's management regulations.
At the same time, they are encouraged to actively adapt to the new learning environment, fully utilize college resources, participate in various campus activities, and promote comprehensive personal development. In addition, the activity also set up interactive segments, with new students actively asking questions and teachers patiently answering questions. The atmosphere on site was lively and harmonious.
The successful hosting of this event not only showcases the warm welcome of SIEC to new students, but also reflects the college's emphasis on improving teaching quality and student service. Through this activity, the freshmen not only gained a more comprehensive understanding of the college, but also felt the college's concern and importance towards them. Subsequently, SIEC will continue to strive to create a harmonious, inclusive, and enterprising learning environment for international students, and assist them in their journey to study in China.
