As winter vacation approaches, in order to further improve the safety education and teaching management of international students during their holidays, and enhance their awareness of safety prevention and self-protection. On the afternoon of January 11, 2024, SIEC (School of International Education and Cooperation) held the 2024 International Student Winter Safety Education Conference in Classroom 102 of the Library and Information Building, with over 300 international students from the school attending the conference.

During the meeting, the academic affairs teacher emphasized to the interns the graduation requirements, stating that international interns must complete their internships with quality and quantity, and also prepare for the graduation exam. At the same time, the relevant content of the "Regulations on the Management of Student Status for International Students" was introduced to international students studying on campus, hoping that they can fill in any gaps during the holidays and lay a solid foundation for their studies in the new semester. The Chinese Language Teaching and Research Office has also announced the plan for the HSK Level 4 exam to be held by the Chinese Language Examination Center next semester, urging students to work hard to prepare for the Chinese language exam.

Subsequently, the teacher of student office gave a safety lecture and education on the procedures for requesting and canceling leave during holidays, safety precautions, visa extension matters, behavioral norms, and the registration time for the new semester, informing international students to strictly abide by management regulations and maintain a healthy lifestyle during the holiday period.

As the winter vacation approaches, SIEC combines the situation of international students staying on campus during holidays to carry out holiday safety education for international students through holding safety education meetings, issuing safety reminders, and other methods, ensuring that international students can smoothly enjoy a safe and beautiful holiday life.
